Taking the form of the opulent and expensive Bentayga, luxury car-maker Bentley's first foray into the SUV segment arrived in March 2016.
Powertrain options were initially limited to the 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 petrol engine (447kW/900Nm) before later being joined exactly a year later by a 4.0-litre triple-turbo V8 diesel (320kW/900Nm).
The presence of the British brand's new model was not just for show as the large SUV was just as capable off-road as it was on, thanks to extensive engineering work that made the Bentayga an all-round performer.
An extensive options list ensured well-heeled customers were able to customise a Bentayga to their liking via various packages, often for a significant cost.
