DON’T be fooled by the rhetoric – the TT RS is no reborn Quattro like you may have seen on TV’s Ashes To Ashes – but it does have a big five-pot turbo engine driving all four wheels. This makes the RS a formidable coupe as well as a unique proposition if you want Porsche-levels of performance wrapped in a designer outfit at a reasonable price. R8 excepted, the RS is also the most compelling Audi to drive since the late and lamented B7 RS4 was discontinued in 2008, so we are happy to see the fastest TT here, particularly as we missed out on the original Quattro back in the 1980s.
