Suzuki isn’t so much late to the booming light SUV party as back with a fresh set of clothes, after arriving way too early with the pioneering SX4 of 2006.
Some 110kg lighter yet significantly larger than before, the new S-Cross highlights the Japanese company’s decades of experience building crossovers, with pleasing packaging, great economy, plenty of comfort and likeable dynamics.
But will anybody take notice of this Hungarian-built wallflower? As one of our segment favourites, it certainly deserves a full dance card.
