XC70

A name change in line with future Volvo SUVs such as the XC90 wasn’t the only thing different about the XC70 compared to its flawed V70 XC predecessor.

Although essentially the same car, a myriad of modifications improved the breed, including an increase in engine output to 154kW of power and 320Nm of torque.

More importantly, the XC70 switched to the more responsive and refined Haldex electronically controlled part-time AWD system. Also, 40/20/40 split fold seats replaced the old 60/40 arrangement.
