THE Toyota Service Advantage fixed-price maintenance plan has been extended to cover all models in the Toyota range, following the inclusion of the LandCruiser 70 Series for the first time.
All 70 Series models carrying July 2008 compliance plates or later are eligible for the capped-price service offer, which in this case includes six standard scheduled services for $250 each, including GST – saving customers a claimed $1528.
“That's a saving of more than half of the actual cost of servicing, while still benefiting from the use of genuine parts, leading customer service and expert technicians - all delivered by our national network of Toyota dealers,” said Matthew Callachor, divisional manager for Toyota Australia's customer service division.
Buyers of the Australian-made Camry and Aurion sedans are entitled to four standard scheduled services under the capped-price plan, with all other Toyota models including six services.
Fixed-price services for Toyota’s Corolla, for example, cost $120 each, saving at least a claimed $500 over the six services spanning 60,000km or three years of ownership – which ever comes first.
“Although LandCruiser 70 Series is a workhorse and designed to handle heavy loads, it still endures more wear and tear than other Toyota vehicles, making $250 per service a great saving,” said Mr Callachor.
Toyota Service Advantage excludes government vehicles, rental vehicles and employee family vehicle finance vehicles, and Toyota stresses that vehicles subjected to heavy usage and harsh driving conditions may require additional servicing between standard scheduled services.
