BMW has given its 4 Series Coupe and Gran Coupe range a tweak even before its mid-life facelift next year, endowing it with upgraded engines but stacking the features list and slicing the price.
Re-named the 4 Series in 2013, the two- and four-door hard-top and drop-top range has diesel and petrol options, with the latter the more recently updated in terms of outputs and fuel efficiency.
More power and less thirst are among the turbo four- and six-cylinder attributes.
The update brings price cuts totalling thousands for some models and a boost to standard equipment, but is it enough to fend off Benz’s new C-Class Coupe and the Audi’s upcoming new-gen A5?
