ROLLS-ROYCE importer Trivett Classic has announced a $50,000 price drop across its entire 2010 range.
“Factors including the reduction in import duties from January 1 and favourable exchange rates have allowed a price reduction of $50,000 across all models for vehicles arriving into Australia from January 2010,” Trivett said.
This means the cheapest model – the all-new Ghost sedan that hasn’t even arrived in Australia yet – now opens up at $645,000 rather than the $695,000 price tag stated at the car’s announcement during 2009.
But the MY10 Phantom’s $1,068,000 is still somewhat dearer than the car was on its debut back in January 2004, when one could be had for just $985,000 – dropping to $915,000 from 2005 to until 2008.
