Jaguar XK gets limited

JAGUAR Australia will release an extremely limited-edition version of its smooth XK coupe this month, priced at an unchanged $209,400 but said to feature an additional $25,000 worth of extras.

Jaguar will import just nine examples of the XJ-S – the first special-edition of the X150-series Jaguar flagship since it was launched in Australia in July 2006.

Powered by the same snappy 219kW V8 that drives the rest of the aluminium-chassis XK range, the six-speed automatic-only XK-S offers a host of unique equipment.

Top of the list are 20-inch Senta alloy wheels and ‘bright-finish’ upper and lower mesh grilles, while new side appliques, exhaust outlet finishers, chrome-finished side vents and ‘S’ badges for the front and rear valances complete the exterior cosmetic upgrade.



Inside, the XK-S offers a ‘Luxury Sport’ interior complete with soft-grain leather trim, 16-way power-adjustable seats, bright-finish pedals and a brushed aluminium gearshifter.

Ready to order now, the XK-S will be available in Indigo blue, Ultimate Black and Liquid Silver exterior colours, with a choice of Caramel or Warm Charcoal interior trim.
