Worthington heads for Bangkok

BY GEORGIA OCONNELL | 8th Oct 2008

THE exodus of senior management from Ford Australia to elsewhere in the Blue Oval world – or outside the organisation – has continued this week with the announcement that product development vice-president Trevor Worthington will relocate to the Asia Pacific and Africa unit in Bangkok, where he will become director of product planning and strategy for the region.

The move follows the recent resignation of Ford Australia president Bill Osborne, and the promotion of sales and marketing vice-president Mark Winslow to Asia-Pacific and Africa executive director of sales.

Ford Australia has named Falcon and Territory vehicle line director Russell Christophers as its product development director.

Meanwhile, brand communications manager Ed Finn has announced his resignation and his decision to return to Auckland in New Zealand with his family next month after three years with the Blue Oval brand Down Under.
