The diminutive Mazda2-based five-door is the fifth Kodo/SkyActiv car from the little Japanese brand that could, and it completes a busy schedule of updates and alignments that see Mazda rule the roost in several key product categories.

What of the CX-3, though? Will the weight of expectation – not to mention the wait for the product itself – tarnish its grand entrance?
