Paris show: We've got it covered

BY MARTON PETTENDY | 5th Oct 2010

THIS year’s biannual Paris motor show went off with an even bigger bang than expected, thanks to the reveal of a stunning new jet-powered Jaguar supercar and no fewer than five scintillating new sportscar concepts from Lotus.

Continental European super-coupe makers Ferrari and Lamborghini were also represented in the French capital, by the drop-dead-gorgeous 599 coupe-based SA Aperta roadster and an intimidating new compact carbon-fibre concept called the Sesto Elemento.

Of course, there was the usual green focus too, with hybrid and zero-emissions electric vehicle concepts from most of the major manufacturers, along with a few most of us had never heard of – all of which made this year’s Parisian auto salon the most memorable show of 2010.

Follow the links below to check what you’ve missed from this year’s extravaganza.
