THE Hyundai Excel, the car that introduced tens of thousands of Australians to the new car buying experience courtesy of driveaway pricing, is dead. In its place is the Accent, a car Hyundai wants people to buy on merit as well as pricing. The five-door GL is smack bang in the middle of the range, offering the superior flexibility of five doors over the cheaper entry level three-door models, but without much in the way of standard equipment.
