Market Insight: BMW X7 to be a high roller

-BMW Group Australia is confident its just-launched inaugural X7 flagship SUV will not cannibalise sales of the highly successful X5 – which also recently entered a new generation – despite closeness in their pricing and the availability of seven seats in both high-class, high-riding family wagons.

 

-The head of the German prestige brand’s Australian subsidiary, Vikram Pawah, recently revealed that such concerns had already been raised at the company, but said internal research and anecdotal evidence shows that the two vehicles appeal to different needs within the large luxury SUV sphere.
