ROLLS-ROYCE Motor Cars Sydney has been named the Asia Pacific Region’s Ownership Services Dealer of the Year for 2020 at the prestige brand’s annual Dealer of the Year awards.
The only winner to come from Australia, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Sydney reportedly beat out 21 other dealerships from throughout the region to claim the award with Rolls-Royce Asia Pacific regional sales manager Ian Grant describing aftersales service and customer experience as the most important aspect of owning a Rolls-Royce.
“Achieving such an award is testament to the ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction and dedication towards enhancing the customer experience,” he said.
“Often the industry focus is directed to car sales to indicate a brand’s performance, yet the customer journey after delivery is the most important part of Rolls-Royce ownership.
“By winning this award Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Sydney is supporting our founders’ ethos of striving for perfection.”
Far from an irregularity, this is not the first time Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Sydney has taken home gold at the regional awards, having previously been recognised for its local Dawn convertible launch, world-class efforts in upholding brand values and its Provenance and Black Badge sales.
Dealer principal Matthew Tunstall accepted the award on behalf of his staff and said he was honoured that their “work has been recognised by Rolls-Royce”.
“Passion and willingness to deliver only the best to our customers drives us, as does founder Sir Henry Royce’s words ‘Whatever is rightly done, however humble, is noble’,” he said.
Eight prizes comprise the Asia Pacific Awards with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Tokyo claiming three of them, including the overall Asia Pacific Dealer of the Year title – it also won Bespoke Dealer of the Year and Provenance Dealer of the Year.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Seoul also had a good year, netting both the ‘Best New Ghost Results’ gong as well as being name the CRM & Digital Dealer of the Year.
The other winners included Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Singapore (Phantom Dealer of the Year) and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Yokohama (Black Badge Dealer of the Year).
Rolls-Royce has sold 12 new vehicles in Australia so far this year ending March, exactly the same volume as in the first quarter of 2020.
