AUSTRALIAN owned and operated Brown & Watson International (BWI) – which parents such well-known names as Narva, Osram, Phillips Automotive and Projecta locally – has announced the inclusion of European-sourced Strands Lighting as part of its growing portfolio.
Established in 2002, Strands has grown to offer an innovative range of LED driving lights, work lights and light bars for the burgeoning off-road market, combining not only “contemporary looks with outstanding performance”, but also a high-quality offering BWI says is certain to appeal to Australian buyers.
Initially, the product offering will comprise Siberia Night Ranger nine- and seven-inch driving lights, a seven-strong LED work light range, and a comprehensive line-up of single- and dual-row LED light bars ranging in size from eight to 50 inches.
The Siberia Night Ranger LED driving light range is IP67 and IP69K dust and moisture proof and feature an aluminium housing, polycarbonate lens, and a light output of 1 Lux at up to 465m.
Meanwhile, the compact LED work light range has most work and recreation situations covered and may be fitted over cargo spaces or side-mounted for greater visibility.
Finally, the Siberia LED light bar range is offered in straight or curved body styles to suit a range of applications, including across the top of the windscreen.
Strands’ Siberia range is characterised by its prominent dual position white or amber light pipes, multitude of mounting options and compact dimension, with mounting and wiring kits available for a range of applications – often without the need for a bull bar.
The latter is a point BWI says makes Strands products well suited to discreet mounting, particularly on increasingly popular European SUVs.
Gradual expansion of the range is expected in the coming months.
All Strands products are supplied with cable and mounting hardware and are backed by a comprehensive three-year warranty. Orders over $200 come with free postage.
