Isuzu D-Max Tour Mate duo revealed

ISUZU UTE Australia (IUA) has announced details of its D-Max Tour Mate Crew Cab utility duo this week, the “towing and touring ready” special editions available in LS-U or LS-U+ grades from $69,990 (ordinary base price $62,500 + ORC) and $72,990 (ordinary base price $65,500) drive-away respectively.

 

Offering what IUA says are $9040 of commonly selected optional accessories, the Tour Mate package sees the D-Max twins fitted with a tow bar, 12-pin wiring harness, electronic brake controller, extendable Clearview towing mirrors, canopy, weather shields, and special edition badging.

 

Available to order this month, the Isuzu D-Max LS-U Tour Mate and LS-U+ Tour Mate bundles commonly optioned Isuzu Ute Genuine Accessories with drive-away pricing to offer savings of more than $6100 on each variant, depending on the state or territory in which the vehicle is sold.

 

IUA says the fitment of the Tour Mate options adds just 85kg to the overall weight of the vehicle, making “little difference to the payload capacity”. The D-Max LS-U Tour Mate offers 905kg of payload and D-Max LS-U+ Tour Mate 910kg.

 

Both variants provide up to 3500kg of braked towing capability.

 

As is the case with all IUA models, the Isuzu D-Max LS-U Tour Mate and LS-U+ Tour Mate are backed by a six-year/150,000km warranty and up to seven years of roadside assistance.

 

Both vehicles are eligible for IUA’s comprehensive Service Plus customer care program encompassing a five-year fixed price scheduled servicing program at $449 per year/15,000km intervals.
