HOLDEN has provided its top-selling Commodore sedan and utility range with a number of detail changes aimed at improving Commodore’s equipment, refinement and styling levels.

HOLDEN'S WEIGHTING GAME

HOLDEN, which made poignant comments relating to the effect of weight on fuel economy following the launch of the new, heavier BA Falcon range last year, has announced revised vehicle weights for its entire Commodore range.

Holden has admitted the weight figures it has stated for Commodore models since the VY launch 12 months ago are in fact dry figures, and that the new figures have been adjusted to include the nominal vehicle fluids normally included in the industry-accepted kerb weight figure.

Including increases of up to 58kg on SS Ute, the claimed weight changes also include the addition of optional air-conditioning on Executive models, adding 17kg.
