ALFA Romeo has released the JTS Selespeed version of its GT coupe, which at $64,950 lowers the entry price more than $15,000.
Australia is claimed to be the first market with this combination of Alfa’s 121kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and the Selespeed clutch-lessmanual gearbox.
Available from january 1, the car comes equipped with leather trim, cruise control, a trip computer, BOSE stereo, stability control and six airbags.
The 0-100km/h acceleration measure is a claimed 8.7 seconds, with 1000m consumed in 29.2 seconds.
Euro fuel consumption figures indicate a combined 6.8 L/100km. The 3.2 V6 GT remains priced from $79,990.
