ALFA Romeo has introduced a five-speed manual gearbox for its GT JTS five-seat coupe, a move that lowers the starting price for the range to $52,990 – $3000 below the JTS Selespeed clutchless manual, which uses a version of the same gearbox and has identical gear ratios and claimed performance figures.
The 121kW 2.0-litre JTS engine can send either version of the GT JTS from 0-100km/h in 8.7 seconds, on to a 216km/h top speed. Combined-cycle fuel consumption is 8.7L/100km.
