AUDI Australia has confirmed pricing for its all-new A5 and S5 four-seat coupe models, which go on sale in October.
The front-wheel drive 195kW/330Nm 3.2-litre FSI V6 Multitronic (CVT) A5 will start from $91,900 while the range-topping AWD 260kW/440Nm 4.2-litre FSI V8 S5 will be priced from $131,900.
The range will expand next April with a new entry-level model, the 125kW/225Nm 1.8-litre TFSI four-cylinder A5 (priced between $70,000 and $75,000), while the S5 will get the option of a Tiptronic semi-automatic transmission (adding $4000 over the standard six-speed manual).
An AWD quattro version of the 3.2 V6 – with the Tiptronic auto – is also due early next year (adding $5000), while a 176kW/500Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel is not expected until August 2008.
The latter will be priced between $90,000 and $95,000.
