AUDI developed a new tyre and wheel combination for the Allroad. Australian models use 225/55 R17W Pirelli tyres featuring a unique tread pattern, revised structure and new silicate mix formula designed to satisfy both on and off-road requirements. The striking alloy wheel is a five-arm, double-spoke 7.5 x 17-inch design with silver metallic paint finish and a brushed aluminium hub. The temporary-use space-saver spare wheel/tyre is inflated to full-size with an air compressor (standard equipment) that can plug into the 12-volt power outlet in the luggage compartment.
