WHEN it comes to aspirational motor vehicles, Bentley's Continental Flying Spur has to be near the top of the list. Considering that its $375,000 pricing starts more or less where known luxury car-makers leave off, it becomes clear that the revitalised Bentley brand operates in a different realm to the mundanity of Mercedes-Benz and BMW. And the latest addition to the range, which was a piggyback development with the breathtaking Continental GT coupe, does nothing to undermine that lofty standing.
