The BMW 230i Coupe replaced the 228i as part of a model update that added a fair bit to the features list, as well as more thrust and less thirst from the latest four-cylinder turbo powerplant from the German manufacturer.

While the purists will demand a straight-six for the note and extra urge, the middle child of the 2 Series Coupe range offers plenty for those less hung up on the number of cylinders and more interested in the all-round useability.
