There is no shortage of choice over at BMW, with six spin-offs from the basic F30 3 Series Sedan architecture hitting our shores – including three five-door iterations.

But it is the F36 Gran Coupe that represents the most potential for the Australian arm of the Bavarian brand, taking on the established Audi A5 Sportback with an aptitude for practicality to match its driver-orientated performance attitude.
