AUSTRALIA’S top-selling luxury SUV has gained more standard equipment in what may be its final update before an all-new model goes in sale in 2007 following its Paris motor show debut in September.
Six-cylinder 3.0i petrol and 3.0d diesel X5 variants now come standard with an on-board monitor with TV, plus Park Distance Control, a CD stacker and Bluetooth phone preparation.
BMW says the extras are worth a total of $7470 but has increased the price of its entry-level X5 variants by $1000.
Meantime, the V8-powered X5 4.4i gains BMW Navigation and Bluetooth phone preparation as standard for no extra cost.
Finally, the range-topping X5 4.8is adds Business Bluetooth phone preparation (with handset) and Connected Drive to its standard equipment list for no extra cost.
