AUSTRALIA’S first stretched 300C limousine is a reality, but it’s not the product of DaimlerChrysler.
Rather, Aussie know-how is behind the nine-metre-long behemoth, which is claimed to seat 10 people in comfort and cost about $170,000 to produce. The super-300C was created by Melbourne limo builder Presidential Coachbuilders and will become a mobile demonstration of its handiwork.
Presidential will build a further three stretched 300C sedans at this stage, with two examples due to be delivered to a Melbourne limousine company and another bound for Perth by August.
The same company was also responsible for the wacky Territory limousine that appeared from its Melbourne skunkworks late last year.
