LUGGAGE capacity is 450 litres aft of the rear seat (or 670l in the long-wheelbase). The rear bench seat can be removed to increase luggage capacity to 1439 litres (1764l in the lwb), but requires two people to lift it.

The cargo sill has a plate reading "load to this line" to ensure the tailgate will close properly. Gas struts make opening and closing the tailgate easy.

Though an antiquated design, the rear suspension's leaf springs minimise intrusion into the cargo area.
