Push-button cruise control switches are placed on the steering wheel for easy operation. The right-hand column shift is one of several examples where right-hand drive production costs were kept down. Headlight and (heated) external mirror switchgear is placed to the right-hand side of the steering wheel, behind the column shift (when in D). Front window and rear quarter window vent switches are conveniently mounted on the door panel near the base of the front pillar.
