CITROEN, stung by criticism that its previous small car, the Xsara, was anathema to everything it traditionally represents in the areas of design and individuality, strikes back with the stylish C4. Lovely, unique lines inside and out paint a much brighter picture for traditionalists as well as marque newcomers, while fairly conventional Peugeot 307 underpinnings guarantee nothing too way-out underneath as well. So does it drive as well as it looks?
