THE indicator stalk's position on the left-hand side of the steering column can create confusion when you reach an intersection or it starts to rain. The stalk levers at either side of the steering column control the operation of all exterior lamps and windscreen wipers. External mirrors are adjusted using levers at the front pillar. Windows are raised and lowered manually on all Lanos models except the Sport and some special editions. Height-adjustable and power-assisted steering is standard.
