THE Daihatsu Pyzar fits neatly into the Japanese pre-occupation with maximising interior space while having little regard for exterior aesthetics. The car is bigger and more comfortable than the donor Charade, more useful for shopping expeditions, but is never going to win any styling awards. Still, for the money, there are not many cars offering the same amount of interior space.
