DON’T call it a Citroen. The DS5 premium psuedo-wagon establishes a new standalone French luxury car brand called DS Automobiles. Almost all double-chevron references have been removed from what is a significant mid-life facelift for what was the Citroen DS5.
Unashamedly trading off the reputation of Citroen’s iconic, legendary and groundbreaking DS – phonetically French for goddess – launched in 1955, this is PSA Peugeot-Citroen’s bold attempt to redefine French luxury cars for the 21st Century and a new global audience.
