FIAT’S new Grande Punto might be four months away from Australian Fiat (read: Alfa Romeo) showrooms, but another European car styling house – this time, Fioravanti – has already taken to it with the gas-axe and will present its wares at next week’s Geneva show.
Fioravanti’s two Punto-based two-door Skill concepts comprise a "pick-up version with a conventional or a convertible cabin and 750-litre boot capacity" and a "coupe version (pictured) that easily changes into a true spider with a full-capacity boot".
It’s believed both the coupe-convertible version, much like Bertone’s example, and a convertible utility in the vein of C3 Pluriel, will both appear at Geneva. A Punto ute, anyone?
