THE Duratec 2.5 litre, quad cam, 24-valve V6 produces 125kW at 6250rpm and 220Nm of torque at 4250rpm. The aluminium alloy V6 is one of the world's smallest and lightest V6 engines. It is particularly responsive in the upper rev range due to the calibration of the EECV engine management system and the dual-phase induction system. Ninety per cent of peak is developed at just 2000rpm.
