THE Cougar's instrument panel is driver-oriented in a semi-circular mirror of the steering wheel. The main instruments are large, legible dials with the speedo going up in 20km/h increments. The trip computer readout displays distance to empty, average fuel economy, average speed and exterior temperature. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, gearshift knob and handbrake boot are standard.
