FALCON remains the archetypal five-seater family sedan, capable of accommodating five adults in relative comfort, each with a three-point seatbelt.

Dual front airbags are standard on all Falcons, while front side-impact airbags are part of the equation on Fairmont - and of course the Ghia.

The AU Falcon's 60-40 split/fold rear seat continues in the BA range, although through-loading capacity has been reduced to not much more than the Commodore's extra-large skiport arrangement due to the addition of rear seat-back bracing.
