Falcon ute gets special

FORD has released four special-edition Falcon utes with extra features, including the Special Edition Falcon XR6 Cab Chassis revealed at the Melbourne motor show in February, priced at $32,990.

The performance-oriented Falcon XR Magnet Ute is claimed to offer $3500 in extras over the regular XR, including XR sports leather seats, Momo sports steering wheel, 18-inch alloy wheels and ‘Magnet’ decals.

Available as an XR6, XR6 Turbo and XR8 ute, Magnet pricing starts at $34,620 for the XR6, which is also available with Ford's optional E-Gas dedicated LPG engine.



The Falcon XL Cab Chassis-based Tradesman special-edition offers ‘Tradesman’ decals and the choice of a Ford factory alloy tray or $1000 cash towards a tray of their choice. Ford says the Tradesman ute has $2840 worth of extra value, priced from $27,450.

The Falcon XL Styleside Box-based SE special-edition ute comprises one-tonne rated 16-inch alloys, air-conditioning, cruise control and ‘SE’ decals – which is claimed to represent $3700 of extra value over the XL for $27,875.
