THE extent of the styling improvements to the AUII Ford Falcon might be disappointing, but there is no questioning the benefits of the more hidden work that has gone into making Ford's local volume-seller a more appealing package.
So it might not look much different, but it is a better all-round car than any Falcon yet and makes a subtly upmarket impression on passengers with improved interior presentation, quieter operation and more equipment. Standard dual front airbags are a big plus, as is a 60,000km free service deal. The S model makes an attractive semi-sporting package with its extra gear and tighter suspension, but does show some signs of unexpected body flex.
