WITH a totally redesigned dashboard in BA Falcon, it is no surprise to find the major controls to be new as well - all a part of the comprehensive cabin facelift.

The only carryover item within reach of the driver is the electric mirror switchgear, which is still positioned on the forward edge of the door panel.

Otherwise, XR drivers benefit from all the improvements dished out to the entry level XT - new audio and heating/ventilation controls on the centre console, new steering column stalks, new smaller diameter, thicker rimmed steering wheel, even new electric window buttons.
