THE Laser/323 boot is small, though both the 60/40 split rear seatback and (removable) seatbase portions fold forward to increase capacity from 356 litres to 716 litres. The underfloor well can hold a full-size spare, however the factory supplied wheel and tyre combination is a standard GLXi 14-inch steel rim with a 185/65 R14 tyre. There are no luggage storage areas, save for the shallow tray above the spare wheel. In the hatch's favour, though, is the inclusion of a retractable luggage blind and tie-down hooks.
