ANDY Palmer has stepped down as vice chair and CEO of Switch Mobility – the UK-based EV subsidiary of Hinduja flagship Ashok Leyland – for personal reasons after 15 months in the role.
Following six years as CEO of Aston Martin, in late 2020 he joined Switch (then called Optare) as non-executive chairman before becoming CEO in July last year.
Dr Palmer has been replaced as CEO at Switch by Mahesh Babu, while Dheeraj Hinduja has assumed the role of executive chair.
