Industry expert David Stone goes racing

MULTISKILLED automotive executive David Stone has left the industry after more than 38 years to start his own performance driver education organisation, Eiger Racing.
The opening of Eiger Racing – activated from Mr Stone’s four-decade involvement in motorsport – coaches track drivers from novice to professional, which he said now cements his passion as his business.
In his LinkedIn address, Mr Stone said he was grateful to Bruce Dyer at Mercedes-Benz in getting him started in the industry, and “that Ric Hull saw enough potential in me to head the Hyundai network development role in 1988 to keep my growth going”.
