REMOTE central locking is standard on all Astras. The SRi also gets standard air-conditioning, as well as electronic cruise control. The SRi's leather-rimmed steering wheel is adjustable for both height and reach, while power rear view mirrors are standard, as are heated external mirrors. Windscreen wipers are variable speed and the rear window demister switches off automatically after a pre-set time. Remote headlight aiming is a standard feature.
