FRONT seat occupants are now sitting in the safest Barina seats to date thanks to the inclusion of active head restraints and belt-force limiters. The front seatbelts also have protechnic pretensioners and the sash can be adjusted for height. All seats have anti-submarining ramps. While sadly no rear head restraints or a centre-rear lap-sash seatbelt is provided, the rear seatback itself is reinforced and has a hinge locking system designed to protect against a shifting load. Child anchorage points are also located behind the rear seats. Only the five-door has driver's seat height adjustment and neither front seat in the three-door model has a tilt/slide function to assist access to the rear seats
