INTERIOR space has increased in the new-generation Barina. In particular, front shoulder width has increased 75mm in the five-door model and 80mm in the three-door. Front seat occupants also have 15mm more headroom, while rear seat passengers have 6mm more legroom. Dual airbags are standard, however, rear passengers do not receive head restraints. The five-door gets the lion's share of the storage facilities - rear door bins, a drawer under the front passenger seat and an overhead sunglasses holder are provided in addition to the standard facilities, including a large open bin in the centre console, found on the three-door.
