THE VX Commodore is the only locally built car to offer side airbags. VX Series improves the design of what already was the most advanced Australian-made car in terms of its safety design. A more progressive (rather than stiffer) front end structure was built after extensive research into accidents and injury types on Australian roads. Commodore offers excellent levels of comfort for drivers and their passengers, with the supportive front 'armchairs' and easy-to-reach dash layout being highlights of the interior package.
