HOLDEN has made an effort to sex-up what is a pretty plain-Jane interior, but you can't help noticing and feeling the hard plastics in a combination of grey shades and metal look. A pod finished in that metal-look "satin silver" protrudes from the top of the vertical centre console and contains a digital readout for the clock and trip computer, which also has alarm, date, trip time and average speed functions. Descending below that are two air-conditioning outlets, the HVAC unit itself and the Clarion stereo which in styling terms looks like a complete afterthought. There's another satin silver surround for the gearshift and behind that are the handbrake and a couple of containers, one of which could double as a drinks container.
