MONARO'S braking system remains unchanged from Commodore, with finned twin-piston callipers acting on ventilated rotors up front and a single-piston calliper with solid brake disc at the rear. Of course, ABS is standard, in this case a four-channel system. Working in unison with ABS, Monaro's traction control system also echoes that of its donor sedan, retarding engine torque and applying braking to individual wheels to prevent wheelspin.
