GM HOLDEN has introduced two 60th Anniversary special-editions of its Rodeo one-tonne utility, both of which are claimed to offer more than $3000 worth of extra value.
Based on the LT and LX 4x4 model variants, the anniversary Rodeos are both fitted with a chrome sports bar, side steps, Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and a 60th Anniversary decal.
The LX also gains a towbar package, while the LT adds rear parking sensors.
Both editions are available only in 4x4 crew-cab pick-up bodystyles, with either petrol or diesel power and manual or automatic transmission.
Pricing starts from $32,990 for the petrol manual LX, while the diesel equivalent starts from $33,990.
The higher-spec LT starts from $39,490 for the petrol and $41,490 for the diesel.
Automatic adds $2000, metallic paint $300 and ABS brakes (on LX) $1000.
The Rodeo specials follow the 60th Anniversary VE Ute announced earlier this month, which hits the showrooms in mid-May.
Priced from $36,990 for the manual and $37,990 for the automatic, the SV6-based ute special features partial leather seat trim, aluminium facings for the foot pedals, a “sports profile” steering wheel, six-disc in-dash MP3-compatible CD stereo and Bluetooth integration.
Combined, the extra ute equipment is worth a claimed $2000.
