Sydney show: Honda’s new-look Civic

HONDA’S facelifted Civic hatch made its first local public appearance at the Sydney motor show last week, when it also went on sale nationally.

Sporting new front and rear bumpers, new 15-inch alloy wheels, brighter projector-style headlights, different tail-lights, more supportive front seats with new seat trim and an interior colour change – from grey to black – the five-door’s pricing remains unchanged at $25,950 (manual) and $27,950 (auto).

While the 2004 Civic hatch goes on sale right now, the revised Civic sedan range – including a new hybrid version – will appear here in the first quarter of next year.
